Hi,
my dutch isn't that good (but im still learning ) so I'm writing in english.
I will move to Groningen in about 14 days (my appartment is already fixed ) and stay there for some years. I hope I will get in contact with some of you guys so that I'll be not a lonley MX-3 fan in my new home country. That meeting in Assen sounds intressting so I'll to join the group.

Hey Elk-O welcome to the club. So I guess you will be importing your car and laughing at TUV? I like it that you will be joining us in Assen.

I'm not sure about importing the car to Holland because I heard something about tax... that I have to pay tax when I import the car to the netherlands.. how high is the tax (do you have yearly tax in the netherlands) and the insurance for an MX-3 1.6 16V preFL?

I'm looking foward to the JAF meeting, btw is there a MX-3 driver around Groningen?

Tax for the import would be about 440 euro and probably 100-200 for all the papers and licence plates. The tax "to have the car on the street" about 70-75 euro every three months. I don't know about insurance since I have the V6 and 75% no-claim discount.
